TriLife is one of the most recognized and successful triathlon training programs in the US. Formed in 2003, the program has trained hundreds of athletes for half Ironman and Full Ironman distance races, both domestic and international.
I discovered multisport endurance events in 2002 and was a member of the inaugural TriLife Iron Team in 2003/04, completing my first Ironman in Lake Placid in July 2004.
After focusing on shorter distance events for a time, I returned to train on the 2008 TriLife Iron Team. With a much deeper appreciation and understanding of the TriLife philosophy on integrated training, I dropped nearly 45 minutes from my prior best time, and finished 5th Overall in the Clydesdale category.
I joined the Assistant Coach program in 2008 and support the TriLife head coaches and athletes primarily in the biking and running disciplines.
